* Sat Jul 19 2008 libisoburn is released as  version 0.2.2. xorriso now can emulate mkisofs and cdrecord multi-session and work underneath growisofs.

* Thu Jul 17 2008 A new version  0.5.0 of libburn /cdrskin is ready on releases page. It fixes a problem with systems offering only /dev/scdN but not /dev/srN.

* Sun Jun 1 2008 libisofs 0.6.6 fixes two bugs and a shortcoming about device files. Download it  here, or visit releases page for more information.

ABOUT

libburnia is a project for reading, mastering and writing optical discs. Currently it is comprised of libraries named libisofs, libburn, libisoburn, a cdrecord emulator named cdrskin, and an integrated multi-session tool named xorriso.

The source code for the libburnia project is distributed under the terms of the  GNU General Public License.

SOURCE CODE

The current release tarballs are available at Releases Page.

The project lives in part in a  subversion repository hosted on http://svn.libburnia-project.org and in part in a  bzr repository hosted at  launchpad. You can check-out the latest versions using:

svn co http://svn.libburnia-project.org/libburn/trunk libburn
bzr branch lp:libisofs
svn co http://svn.libburnia-project.org/libisoburn/trunk libisoburn

For building the libraries and binaries you will need autotools of at least version 1.7.

CONTRIBUTION

We welcome any sorts of contribution. If you would like to contribute to libburnia project development, please consider providing patches to the tickets in our system. You are encouraged to read our development guide before contributing/submiting patches. Please use your e-mail address when using ticket system unless you have a trac account.

 libburn-cutters - A list for people who use cd burning/mastering software which use libburn. For general cd burning discussion go here. Feel free to post ideas for discussion here too.

 libburn-announcements - Low-traffic announcement list. Read-only list. Subscribe if you're a packager/maintainer.

 libburn-tickets All the ticket (aka bug) activity is forwarded here. Read-only list. Primarly meant for developers.
