Welcome to libburnia project

libburnia is a project for reading, mastering and writing optical discs. Currently it is comprised of libraries named libisofs, libburn, libisoburn, a cdrecord emulator named cdrskin, and an integrated multi-session tool named xorriso.
The source code for the libburnia project is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License.
The current release tarballs are available at Releases Page.

For building the libraries and binaries you will need autotools of at least version 1.7.
We welcome any sorts of contribution. If you would like to contribute to libburnia project development, please consider providing patches to the tickets in our system. You are encouraged to read our development guide before contributing/submiting patches. Please use your e-mail address when using ticket system unless you have a trac account.
We run mailing lists for various purposes.
libburn-hackers - Our primary list for general development discussion. Feel free to ask for support here.
libburn-cutters - A list for people who use cd burning/mastering software which use libburn. For general cd burning discussion go here. Feel free to post ideas for discussion here too.
libburn-announcements - Low-traffic announcement list. Read-only list. Subscribe if you're a packager/maintainer.
libburn-tickets All the ticket (aka bug) activity is forwarded here. Read-only list. Primarly meant for developers.
